What is Bioeconomics Bioeconomics is intimately connected to the early development of theories in fisheries economics, which were initially developed in the middle of the 1950s by Canadian economists Scott Gordon and Anthony Scott (1955). Among the traditional purposes of such an introductory course is the training of a student in the conventions of pure mathematics: acquiring a feeling for what is considered a proof, and supplying literate written arguments to support mathematical propositions.
