Math Essentials, High School Level gives high school math teachers the tools they need to help prepare all types of students (including gifted and learning disabled) for standards-based mathematics testing. This dynamic book covers thirty key objectives found in a typical secondary mathematics curriculum, including algebraic thinking; graphs, statistics and probability; linear and quadratic functions and their properties; and geometry and measurement with applications. Each objective contains three lessons: manipulative, pictorial, and independent practice. Lessons include worksheets or patterns and answer keys, and each section ends with a practice test and answer key.

Math Essentials, Middle School Level gives middle school math teachers the tools they need to help prepare all types of students (including gifted and learning disabled) for mathematics testing and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards. Math Essentials highlights Dr. Thompson's proven approach by incorporating manipulatives, diagrams, and independent practice. This dynamic book covers thirty key objectives arranged in four sections. Each objective includes three activities (two developmental lessons and one independent practice) and a list of commonly made errors related to the objective. The book’s activities are designed to be flexible and can be used as a connected set or taught separately, depending on the learning needs of your students. Most activities and problems also include a worksheet and an answer key and each of the four sections contains a practice test with an answer key.

Math Essentials: Finding and Filling the Gaps is a 13 part book created to help find and fill the gaps that hinder algebra studies. The program assumes a student has mastered basic addition, subtraction and multiplication, but it addresses division, if needed, as this was commonly found to be weak. It isn't designated for use with a specific age or grade, but is addressed to students preparing to study algebra, and has most often been used with teens. The program includes a variety of tools an instructor can use to tailor the program to a student's needs. Diagnostic tests identify which math skills the student hasn't already mastered. The individual learning guide for each unit allows the student to study just what is needed. A variety of exercises allow the student to practice as much as needed and to stay sharp on skills learned. Each of the skills covered in the program are provided in individual books as well as all together in one full book. Learning guides and exams are provided for each skill, and may be used with both the appropriate individual books and the full book.

The Essentials of High School Math was designed to help students learn the basics of mathematics that they are supposed to understand upon entering high school, as well as the fundamental lessons within Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics that students typically learn in ninth and tenth grade. It is specifically intended for students identified as possibly having trouble on an upcoming state-mandated math exam, or for those who have already failed such an exam and must re-take it. The book was created to include everything a student needs to study, practice, and learn the material that any high school student should know. It contains almost 1,000 problems for students to practice, and the lessons themselves contain about 100 questions from actual state exams that are thoroughly explained, along with hundreds of other examples. Each lesson is designed to cover one topic only so that students may learn and thoroughly understand that topic. Whether with the help of a teacher, tutor, parent, or even alone, any student should be able to read through a lesson and have a good understanding of it. The Essentials of High School Math is recommended for any student that needs help with math.

Get Better Results with high quality content, exercise sets, and step-by-step pedagogy! Tyler Wallace continues to offer an enlightened approach grounded in the fundamentals of classroom experience in Beginning and Intermediate Algebra. The text reflects the compassion and insight of its experienced author with features developed to address the specific needs of developmental level students. Throughout the text, the author communicates to students the very points their instructors are likely to make during lecture, and this helps to reinforce the concepts and provide instruction that leads students to mastery and success. The exercises, along with the number of practice problems and group activities available, permit instructors to choose from a wealth of problems, allowing ample opportunity for students to practice what they learn in lecture to hone their skills. In this way, the book perfectly complements any learning platform, whether traditional lecture or distance-learning; its instruction is so reflective of what comes from lecture, that students will feel as comfortable outside of class as they do inside class with their instructor.
