In Joker Moon, the next Wild Cards adventure from series editor George R. R. Martin, we follow Aarti, the Moon Maid, who can astrally project herself onto the surface of the moon and paint projections across the lunarscape. Theodorus was a dreamer. As a child, he dreamt of airplanes, rockets, and outer space. When the wild card virus touched him and transformed him into a monstrous snail centaur weighing several tons, his boyhood dreams seemed out of reach, but a Witherspoon is not so easily defeated. Years and decades passed, and Theodorus grew to maturity and came into his fortune . . . but still his dream endured. But now when he looked upward into the night sky, he saw more than just the moon . . . he saw a joker homeland, a refuge where the outcast children of the wild card could make a place of their own, safe from hate and harm. An impossible dream, some said. Others, alarmed by the prospect, brought all their power to bear to oppose him. Theodorus persisted . . . . . . never dreaming that the Moon was already inhabited. And the Moon Maid did not want company. At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

I am a preacher and teacher. I have been a Youth leader for many years at St. Mark Baptist Church. I have a passion to teach children who their Creator is and I want the children to learn how the world was created. It is important to me, to let the children know, what was created by God. I live in Delran, NJ and I am a mother of four children. I am originally from Valdosta, Georgia, where my spiritual journey began at the Greater Pleasant Temple Baptist Church. The pastor of the church at that time was Rev. MJ Hammond. I also have two grandchildren, they are the ones in the story. I love teaching children so much in my church, I decided to take my teaching to a higher level. I attended Cairn Universtity to recieve a Master of Art Degree in Education, Bachlor of Art Degree in Bible with the Emphasis of Leadership, and a Children Ministry Certficate. I love teaching children and I have plans to continue to teach them with my book. I learned from the best my parents Deacon and Deaconess Collie Joe Lewis and Mable Lewis. Creation will allow parents and grandparents to share Gods creation from one generation to another for many years. Mrs. Showers has invited everyone to share the creation with all children. A special thanks to Mrs. Joanne Prewitt and Ricki E. Hart.

The holy land of Herod I, the Great, is a time of religious zealotry and turmoil; a time of brutality, of incest, and of superstition. Into this mix comes Mary, daughter of Rebekah, whose beauty and power of healing gives her unwanted power over all who come under her influence. When her cousin Elisabeth is sold into marriage and her mother killed by the High Priest, Marys loneliness drives her to seek forbidden love. Soon she is with child, but her lover dies and she is alone again with a secret she cannot tell. Herod steals Mary to his bedside. She must heal him. If he dies she will be blamed, but if he lives, she will fall victim to his lust. Joseph rescues her. When the king discovers that Mary is gone, he rages and offers a fortune for her return. The hunted pair fall exhausted into a lonely cave near Bethlehem where Mary starts premature labor. Can Elisabeth, who rushes to Marys side, save the dying girl and her child? Malachis Child is a startling and provocative alternative to the traditional story of Mary and the birth of Jesus.

Fifteen-year-old Malachi Moon works long and hard days on his family's farm in Mullebur, South Carolina. As he shovels cow manure, chases chickens, and plows the ground with a stubborn mule, Malachi dreams of a world outside of the backbreaking chores his father demands of him. But only Malachi and his sister Rose Ann know about the special gift that will allow both of them to escape life on the farm. Malachi can sing and believes in his ability to do things others his age would deem impossible. When his father commits an unthinkable act and rapes twelve-year-old Rose Ann, Malachi and his sister gather their worldly possessions and flee the only life they have ever known. The Day of the Lord texts of Malachi (Mal 3:2, 7; 4:5) demonstrate that he seems to allude to Joel’s Day of the Lord (2:11, 13, 31 [MT 3:4]). Malachi’s Day of the Lord seems to have a strong inner-biblical relationship with the Day of the Lord motif of Joel. A significant interpretive loss is committed when allusion is recognized in the source text but ignored and not explored. Thus, the passages themselves call for an inner-biblical allusion study. In addition, the interpretive significance of Joel’s Day of the Lord in Malachi has not been investigated comprehensively as the review of literature and intertextual and inner-biblical studies on Malachi validated. Thus, these are the interrelated questions: (a) “What are the criteria to verify the inner-biblical connection between Malachi and Joel on the Day of the Lord?” (b) “How did Malachi use Joel’s Day of the Lord motif?” (c) “How did Malachi develop the Day of the Lord theme in his book?” There are three purposes of this study. The first is to identify objective criteria to verify the inner-biblical connection between Malachi and Joel on the Day of the Lord. The second is to determine how Malachi used Joel’s Day of the Lord motif. The last is to ascertain how Malachi developed the Day of the Lord theme in his book.
