Ever wonder what's going on inside the head of the people who mark your exam paper? Me neither. But I bet you'd like to know how they do it, wouldn't you? This little guide tries to help you find your way in there. You see, I've been teaching Macbeth for almost as long as Macbeth has been Macbeth. And so I know how the examiner thinks: what they're looking for, the sorts of questions they're likely to ask, the sorts of answers they like, and so on. I can't write your exam for you (as that would be almost as unethical as murdering a king etc.) but what I can at least do is give you a bit of a headstart. This guide is broken into two main sections: the first is a standard(ish) revision guide, taking you through plot, character, and themes, always with one eye on the impending exams. The second takes some sample questions and shows you how to answer them, paying close attention to that weird and wonderful place that is 'the examiner's head'. What more could you ask for?
