A Royal Air Force pilot recounts his harrowing wartime experiences, including being shot down over occupied France, in this thrilling WWII memoir. Born in North London in 1922, John Misseldine enlisted in the Royal Air Force as soon as he turned eighteen. After training in California, he flew fighters with 611 Squadron, led by the legendary Battle of Britain veteran D.H. Watkins. Then, on June 8th, 1942, Misseldine was shot down over Nazi occupied northern France. For more than two months, Misseldine was on the run from the Gestapo, aided and abetted by the French resistance and British Intelligence. Journeying south, he eventually made his way to Gibraltar and escaped back to the British Isles. Misseldine was later commissioned as a pilot officer and posted to Algeria to ferry new Spitfires and Hurricanes to front-line squadrons supporting the Eighth Army. It was there that he met and married a French girl, Mauricette. Sixty-four years later, they are still together.

The second collection of plays from eminent playwright James Graham, bringing together four of his state-of-the-nation plays. The volume includes the following plays, alongside an introduction by the author: This House (2012) explores Westminster and the 1974 hung parliament through a combination of wit and waspish dialogue, comedy and political comment, and historical and contemporary concerns. The Angry Brigade (2014) takes a look at the story behind the Angry Brigade - a British anarchist group who carried out a series of bomb attacks between 1970 and 1972. The Vote (2015) looks at what happens in Britain on election night through the eyes of those at the polling station. Set in a fictional London polling station, Graham's play dramatises the final ninety minutes before the polls close in the 2015 general election. Monster Raving Loony (2016) explores the life and exploits of Screaming Lord Sutch to examine the state of the nation and Britain's post-war identity crisis. It tells the story of Sutch through a cavalcade of comic characters from music hall to Monty Python, panto to Partridge.

What goes on tour, stays on tour…UNTIL NOW! All, and I do mean all, rugby players the world over are from the same mould. They are friendly, convivial, generally well mannered, muscular, motivated, heavy drinkers with a high testosterone level, but above all trustworthy...Until now. This treacherous author has let the pussy out of the bag and touring is no longer a simple visa permit from the wife. From the author, Jon Prichard: "I joined the British Club of Bangkok and immersed myself if their rugby team becoming captain for a few years and then as a playing and moaning Chairman. The BC and an Asian based Rhino’s RFC have taken me on innumerable rugby tours throughout Asia and beyond and in late 2017 I decided to make some written tales of those adventures. The tales are true and risqué in every way and some are seriously adult reading. There are also tales of simple experiences of living and working in Asia, but most have a rugby flavour."
