"Libya: Present Success and Future Vision Under the Leadership of Prime Minister (Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh)" is an in-depth exploration of Libya's transformative journey under the exceptional leadership of Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh. Authored by internationally published writer Amir Albaghdadi, the book presents a vivid narrative of how, with the favor of Allah and under Dbeibeh's guidance, Libya is rising from the ashes of conflict to embrace stability, development, and hope. In this meticulously researched account, Albaghdadi traces the key political, social, and economic milestones that have defined Libya’s resurgence. The book highlights the visionary policies that have been implemented under the Government of National Unity, showcasing how Dbeibeh has unified the country, steered major infrastructure and energy projects, and restructured sectors such as healthcare, education, and public utilities. From the establishment of state-of-the-art hospitals and schools to the rejuvenation of roads, parks, and electricity networks, Libya’s ongoing progress is vividly detailed. Albaghdadi provides readers with an insightful analysis of how, through Dbeibeh's leadership, Libya has achieved unprecedented improvements in public welfare, with initiatives like the 5.3 million beneficiaries of the Wife and Children Grants, the 127% salary increase for public sector employees, and comprehensive water and electricity projects aimed at improving the quality of life for all Libyans. The book also delves into the rebuilding efforts in areas devastated by recent disasters, such as the 2 billion dinar allocation to the Benghazi and Derna Reconstruction Fund and the creation of essential infrastructure to support recovery. Dbeibeh's leadership has extended into critical areas like disaster response, environmental sustainability, and youth empowerment, as seen in the establishment of the Developers and Inventors Club and the revitalization of the national healthcare system. "Libya: Present Success and Future Vision" is more than just a record of achievements. It is a testament to a nation’s resilience and its determination to shape a promising future. Albaghdadi brings readers into the heart of Libya’s rebirth, making it a must-read for those interested in international leadership, development, and the power of national unity. Through Albaghdadi’s eyes, Libya’s transformation is not just a story of a nation but a model of how visionary leadership can rebuild a country on the path to peace and prosperity.

Over the past few years, the Eastern Mediterranean has become a major hotspot for both natural gas and geopolitical competition. Natural gas discoveries in the last decade have attracted growing interest from regional countries and beyond. However, recent escalations in tensions and outright confrontations suggest that competition goes beyond the scramble for energy. Indeed, natural gas is just one of the factors that contribute to shaping security and geopolitical dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean, which has emerged as a crucial strategic area in the broader Mediterranean and the Middle East.Moving from the analysis of these interconnected factors, this Report examines the strategy and the plethora of interests of regional and international players, as well as the interplay between cooperative and competitive dynamics in the region. What are the geopolitical, security, and energy interests of the countries involved? What are the implications on the regional security context of the moves and policies of regional and international powers?

Qasim Amin (1863-1908), an Egyptian lawyer, is best known for his advocacy of women's emancipation in Egypt, through a number of works including The Liberation of Women and The New Woman. In the first of these important books in 1899, he started from the premise that the liberation of women was an essential prerequisite for the liberation of Egyptian society from foreign domination, and used arguments based on Islam to call for an improvement in the status of women. In doing so, he promoted the debate on women in Egypt from a side issue to a major national concern, but he also subjected himself to severe criticism from the khedival palace, as well as from religious leaders, journalists, and writers. In response he wrote The New Woman, published in 1900, in which he defended his position and took some of his ideas further. In The New Woman, Amin relies less on arguments based on the Quran and Sayings of the Prophet, and more openly espouses a Western model of development. Although published a century ago, these two books continue to be a source of controversy and debate in the Arab world and remain key works for understanding the Arab feminist movement. The Liberation of Women and The New Woman appear here in English translation for the first time in one volume.

'Evolution is an exquisite artist, even if an unconscious one.'- Eric Dinerstein The leopard is perhaps one of the world's most beautiful creatures. The spots on its body are even romantically called 'rosettes'. It is social but solitary, inconspicuous but significant in numbers, large but elusive, and does not fit any of the pigeonholes of large-cat conservation. In India, the leopard is a poster boy of the fight to preserve wildlife, but in many countries, it faces either ecological or local extinction. A worrying phenomenon, given that these cats carry out important ecosystem services that have not been fully understood yet. In Leopard Diaries: The Rosette in India, Sanjay Gubbi, who has studied and documented the leopard for nearly a decade, gives us a close look at this fascinating creature. From detailing its food habits to throwing new light on how the young are reared, from offering suggestions on tackling leopard-human conflict to imagining the future of this arresting animal, this book is a 360-degree view of the leopard, its ecological context, its fraught relationship with the human world, and how wildlife and human beings can find a way to co-exist.

Africa is a crucible of culture and heritage with a complex history. Indigenous tribal practices and preexisting values were altered dramatically, either by force or as a result of the Christian and Islamic cultures that spread throughout the continent. Later, the domineering forces of European colonial nations brought even greater change. Africa emerged from its colonization an amalgam of diverse and conflicting traditions, legacies, values, and languages. Consequently, these developments have had a wide impact on the formulation and execution of African foreign policy and diplomacy today.
