La igualdad social y política y sus relaciones con la libertad es un ensayo de la escritora Concepcion Arenal. Se la considera una de las pioneras del protofeminismo español del siglo XIX, con ideas revolucionarias para su época que terminaron influenciando a muchas intelectuales sucesoras. Asimismo, en su obra siempre estuvo presente un fuerte componente social, que abarcó desde la denuncia de la situación insalubre de las cárceles españolas a la defensa de la labor de varias comunidades religiosas en España.
