Just Bee is an interesting romantic tale of the protagonist falling in love at his first and only meeting with his beloved. He has been waiting for her for 10 years to spend 10 minutes with her. There is a spontaneous flow of the writers feeling in the verses included in the story. It also holds a suspence for the readers to know what's going to happen in the tale. It also relates to the needs and little requirements of every human for surviving in this world through the portrayal of the protagonist.

The most joyful emanation produced by a colony of bees is known as the “song of increase”—declaring that the hive is flourishing and the bees are happy in its abundance. Song of Increase takes us inside the world of the honeybee to glean the wisdom of these fascinating creatures with whom humanity has shared a sacred bond for millennia. Within these pages is a bee-centric approach to living with honeybees, rather than advice for simply maximizing the products they provide. Jacqueline Freeman takes us beyond traditional beekeeping and offers a way to work in harmony with honeybees for both their good and ours. “Our way is one of kind observation,” she explains, “where we create supportive homes and fields for bees to live in, as well as tend the heartfelt relationships we form by being together.” Song of Increase focuses on hidden aspects of apiculture that lead us naturally to more sustainable practices. Freeman illuminates the unity consciousness that guides every action in the colony and how this profound awareness can influence the way we see both the natural world and ourselves. Each chapter presents a wealth of information about the life of bees, including Freeman’s personal insights and direct teachings received from the bees themselves.

Warning: this book contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children). There’s enough solidly inspirational and profoundly beautiful literature out there already for your reading pleasure, I won’t add to that. Instead I offer you this. I wrote it. I felt compelled to do so because I have a suspicion that, like me, we all worry about and over analyse the same things in life. We are all just anxious meatbags, trying to get along. We all want similar (ish) things. Happiness, family, love, safety, FAME and a metabolism that helpfully speeds up annually on the event of our passing birthdays. I found this quote a few years ago, it came up as I was scrolling on the internet. It’s so beautiful it actually hurts. “You’re a ghost driving a meat coated skeleton, made from stardust. What do you have to be scared of?” It’s deep isn’t it? It’s basically the theme of this book. It’s aim and my intention is to alleviate worries and reassure the reader that we are all the same inside. We ALL relate to the same s*** that keeps us awake at night. I’ll be honest… I swear like a trucker, but I sure can write and I have good intentions. And, as the front cover states- it’s a guide to surviving the best bits of life and holding our middle fingers up to the rest! – Bind

Inspired by Frances Schultz’s popular House Beautiful magazine series on the makeover of her East Hampton house, Bee Cottage, what began as a decorating book evolved into a memoir combining the best elements of both: beautiful photos and a compelling personal story. Schultz taps into what she learned during her renovations of Bee Cottage—determining how each area in the house and garden would be used and furnished—to unravel the question of how a mature, intelligent, successful woman could have made such a mess of her personal life. As she figures out each room over a period of years, Frances finds a new path in life, also a continual process. She comes to learn that, like decorating a home, our lives must adapt to who we are and what we need at different points along the way. The Bee Cottage Story is part memoir, part home decorating guide. Frances discusses the kinds of useful, commonsense design issues that professionals take for granted and the rest of us just may not think of, prompting the reader to examine and discover her own “truth” in decorating—and in her life.

Combining inspiration, humor, and entomology, Instagram artist Ali Beckman (@SoFlyTaxidermy) is the internet's go-to gal for bug-related content that makes you a happier human. Beckman's witty comics, which use actual insects in everyday situations, illustrate the importance of pollinators as well as body positivity and mental health awareness. Using creatures that are donated, purchased, or found dead to create amusing cartoons, Bee a Good Human highlights the integral role of insects in our environment while also demonstrating we all have a part to play in this world. Beyond bugs, Beckman's art speaks to the value of self-love as she shares a narrative of growth and finding confidence within. Bee a Good Human features the best of Beckman's @SoFlyTaxidermy Instagram art. With 106 color illustrations, many of which have never appeared online, this gift of a book will make you consider the bigger picture—and laugh a little too.
