Wales, Harriett A. Ralph, Lue Stuart Wadsworth, Elizabeth P. Sawyer, Nellie F. Libbey, Mary E. Holbrook, Marie J. Kendall, and Annie Poole Atwood. Mrs. Florence Haynes and' Mrs. Flora S. Chapin, Past Depart ment Presidents, entered the convention later, and were officially introduced. After the opening ceremonies, consisting of prayer, the Flag Salute and singing, Dr. Horatio Card, Clerk of the Shawmut Church, was introduced as its representative.
