D. 1836, Agreeable to the Ordinance of the Council of Censors, Made on the 16th Day of January, 1835: Together With the Amendments of the Constitution, as Adopted by the Convention, and the Whole of the Constitution of the State of Vermont, as Now in Force Section 1. The commonwealth or State of Vermont shall be governed hereafter by a Governor, (or Lieutenant Governor, ) Council, and an Assembly of the Representatives of the freemen of the sarne, in manner and form following: section 2. The supreme legislative power shall he vested in a House of Representatives of the freemen ofthe commonwealth or State of Vermont.
