In 1710 many arrivals in New York were from the Palatinate. Many of them settled in the Tulpehocken Valley of Pennsylvania. These were the ancestors of Thomas Low Dunn and Mary Schreck Albert who married in 1830. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Indiana, Ohio and elsewhere.

The church in 1810 was known as Jacob's, later Howerter's. A church built in 1894 was called St. James which burned down in 1943; the congregation moved into Pitman, Schuylkill County. The Reformed congregation is at Leck Kill in Northumberland County.
