The authors report on two preliminary measurements of the central inclusive jet cross section at[radical]s= 1.8 TeV. The two data sets with integrated luminosities of 91 pb[sup[minus]1] and 14 pb[sup[minus]1] were collected at the Fermilab Tevatron p[bar p] Collider with the D0 detector. The cross section, reported as a function of transverse jet energy 35 GeV[le] E[sub[tau]][le] 470 GeV and in the pseudorapidity interval[vert-bar][eta][vert-bar][le] 0.5, is in excellent agreement with next-to-leading order QCD.

We have made a precise measurement of the inclusive jet cross section at √s=1800 GeV. The result is based on an integrated luminosity of 92 pb-1 collected at the Fermilab Tevatron {anti p}p Collider with the D0 detector. The measurement is reported as a function of jet transverse energy (60 GeV ≤ ET ≤ 500 GeV ), and in the pseudo- rapidity intervals.

We present a preliminary measurement of the central inclusive jet cross section using a successive combination algorithm based on relative transverse momenta (k[perpendicular]) for jet reconstruction. We analyze a 87.3 pb[sup -1] data sample collected by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron p[bar p] Collider during 1994-1995. The cross section, reported as a function of transverse momentum (p[sub T]> 60 GeV) in the central region of pseudo-rapidity ([eta]

We report on preliminary measurements of the central, [eta][le] 0.5, inclusive jet and dijet cross sections at[radical]s= 1.8 TeV. Two data sets with integrated luminosities of 91 pb[sup[minus]1] and 14 pb[sup[minus]1] were collected at the Fermilab Tevatron p[ovr p] Collider with the D0 detector. The inclusive jet cross section measured with both data sets and reported as a function of transverse jet energy (35 GeV[le] E[sub T][le] 470 GeV) and the dijet cross section measured with the 91 pb[sup[minus]1] data set and reported as a function of dijet mass (200 GeV[le] M[sub JJ][le] 1 TeV) are in excellent agreement with next-to-leading order QCD. 11 refs., 5 figs.

The status of the CDF inclusive jet cross section measurement from the 1992--1993 run of the Fermilab Tevatron is described. The E{sub T} range of the jets extends from 15 to 420 GeV. Corrections are made to the measured cross section to obtain a true transverse energy spectrum. The corrected cross section is compared with next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD calculations and to the 1989 CDF data.

The authors report on measurements of the inclusive jet production cross section as a function of the jet transverse momentum in p{bar p} collisions at √s = 1.96 TeV, using the k{sub T} algorithm and a data sample corresponding to 1.0 fb−1 collected with the Collider Detector at Fermilab in Run II. The measurements are carried out in five different jet rapidity regions with

Results are presented for the inclusive jet cross section versus jet E[sub T] in p-[bar p] collisions at[radical]s= 1.8 TeV as measured by the CDF and D0 detectors at Fermilab's Tevatron collider. The data are compared to next-to-leading-order QCD predictions using different input parton distribution functions. The ratio of inclusive jet cross sections at[radical]s= 0.63 TeV and[radical]s= 1.8 TeV, versus jet[chi][sub T], is also presented and compared to QCD predictions.
