John Endecott was born in Dorchester, England in 1588. His parents were Thomas Endicott and Alice Westlake. He was governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. He married his second wife, Elizabeth Cogan Gibson, 17 August 1630 in Massachusetts. They had two sons, John and Zerubbabel.
