A widowed Civil War veteran, Matthew Hawkins doesn't know what to expect from a night at the Jeweled Ladies. All he wants is one night to feel like a man again. But when he's paired with Miss Topaz Gold, he's stunned by how deeply she makes him feel. Former mail-order bride Millie Townsend came to the Jeweled Ladies and gave up her name because she thought it was the key to her salvation after her husband died. It doesn't take long to realize she isn't Topaz Gold. She only wants to be a wife and mother, not a whore. But when Matthew offers to take her away from the Jeweled Ladies, will Millie be allowed to leave? The Jeweled Ladies series by Maggie Chase will delight fans of historical westerns by Victoria Dahl, Molly O'Keefe and Vanessa Vale. "Interested in some sexy stories set in the American West? His Topaz, Their Emerald and Her Ebony will fit the bill. I look forward to seeing what Maggie Chase writes next." - Jennifer Porter, Romance Novel News "This is an interesting story, not just for the romance, which is sizzling, but also for the details about the inner workings of an old west brothel. I recommend this for anyone who likes spicy romance about the strong ladies of the west and the men who love them." -- Goodreads reviewer Mary Dieterich

Dragon hoards are supposed to be a beacon of unity, but Sophia isn’t so sure of that as her hoard seems out to kill each other… When Sophia and her men arrive at the dragon town, the night is young, as fate seems keen to point out. First, she kisses one of her guys, and almost gets him killed by one of the others. It won’t be the last time someone attempts that… Second, she hopes to get them all on the same page as she reveals that all four men are part of her hoard, her fated mates. That went over well… Third, she finds a little dragon in the streets, hungry, tired, alone. An orphan. Just like her. Returning home brings back many memories for Sophia, good and bad ones. But it also means she has to confront other things from her past, like the people she left behind, old friendships, old pain. Can she keep her head cool as the leader of their rebuilding mission, while caring for a young orphaned dragon and regaining the trust of old friends? This is the third novella in the Guarding Their Dragon Mate serial, a six episodes long reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This novella may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author). This story takes place in the same world as the Lughnasadh Elite Academy and happens after the events from the other series. Both series can be read stand-alone, they are about different characters, but they are connected.

This book is the first scholarly English translation of the Ze’enah U-Re’enah, a Jewish classic originally published in the beginning of the seventeenth century, and was the first significant anthological commentary on the Torah, Haftorot and five Megillot. The Ze’enah U-Re’enah is a major text that was talked about but has not adequately studied, although it has been published in two hundred and seventy-four editions, including the Yiddish text and partial translation into several languages. Many generations of Jewish men and women have studied the Torah through the Rabbinic and medieval commentaries that the author of the Ze’enah U-Re’enah collected and translated in his work. It shaped their understanding of Jewish traditions and the lives of Biblical heroes and heroines. The Ze’enah U-Re’enah can teach us much about the influence of biblical commentaries, popular Jewish theology, folkways, and religious practices. This translation is based on the earliest editions of the Ze’enah U-Re’enah, and the notes annotate the primary sources utilized by the author.
