The present volume treats rather of its intensive development and the history of its doctrines. The concluding volume of the series will appear simultaneously in English and in French. The recent pressure of political, in addition to pastoral duties, has prevented Dr. Pressense, as yet, from arranging his accumulated materials for this work.
