They are fitted up with every attention to the comfort of invalids; containing warm, shower, and vapour baths, with neat dressing roonls attached to each, replete with the necessary conveniences. They have now become, by purchase, the property of C. C. Wells, Esq. The arrangements for bathing are superintended by Mrs. A. Smith, and the terms are as below: Single bath 2s. 6d. SUBSCRIPTION, IN ADVANCE: Ten baths.. 21s. Od. Shower bath. Is. 6d. Cold do... Is. dd. Vapour do.. 4s. Od. SEA-BATHING. There are machines for this purpose both on the Norton and south sands; both which are much frequented; though the latter are generally preferred for the extreme smoothness of the sands and their retired situation. The water on the north side is much more shallow, and the shore shingly. The terms for bathing are For each person.... 9d. For children, each... id. For families, each person 6d. The luxury of bathing is in few places enjoyed to such perfection as at Tenby. The extreme transparency and purity of the water, --the firmness of the shore, and its freedom from any mixture of mud or clay, --and the bracing nature of the air, conspire to render it delightful. The beneficial effects which are annually the result of it are too well known to need comment. It is of peculiar service in cases of debility, whether produced by a nervous temperament, or by the attacks of disease; and on children, its influence is surprisingly favourable. It is worthy of mention, that Tenby is rarely visited by any contagious or epidemic disorder; and if such ever make its appearance, it is in the mildest form, and of short duration. This.
