Nicholas Davison (1611-1664) emigrated about 1630 from England to Charlestown, Massachusetts, as the agent for Governor Craddock. He married Joan Hodges, and their first child was born in 1639. Lorenzo Benjamin Davison (1838-1918), a direct descendant in the eighth generation, moved from New York to Ford Madison, Iowa, and married Esther Jane Annabel in 1860. He served in the Civil War, then farmed near Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, and moved to San Jose, California about 1900. Descendants and relatives of Nicholas lived in New England, New York, Iowa, Minnesota, California and elsewhere. Includes ancestral clan history in Scotland, England and elsewhere.
