William Quinby (b.ca.1600) is said to have been a grandson of Thomas Quinby of Farnham, England. William immigrated about 1638 with two sons, John and Thomas, and possibly other children, landed near Salem, Massachusetts and settling at Stratford, Connecticut. In 1657, William and his son John moved to Westchester County, New York, where he died in 1665 or later. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and elsewhere. Includes ancestral family history and genealogical data in England to 1227 A.D.
