Gandrud compiled most of her research findings into 245 volumes, published as the series: Alabama Records. She kept a separate body of research notes in forty-five loose-leaf binders, and those contained information about Alabama's soldiers: those who participated in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and various Indian wars.
