Peter Fogle (1787-1875) was a son of Michael and Elizabeth Fogle, who moved from Maryland to Pennsylvania, where Michael died before 1820. Peter was born in Virginia or Maryland, and married twice: (1) to Elizabeth Salliday and (2) to Phebe Stevens. He moved to Washington County, Pennsylvania, and about 1818 to Noble County, Ohio, where he was the first Justice of the Peace (and held that office for twenty years). Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, California and elsewhere. Includes ancestry and relatives in other lines also living in North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry in Wales, Germany and elsewhere.
