The Office of Advocacy of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) presents the full text of the report "1999 Small Business Profile: Florida" in PDF format. The report highlights the number of businesses in Florida for 1998, women-owned and minority-owned businesses, business turnover, and employment among small businesses. The report includes statistics on the fastest small business employment growth by industry, as well as nonfarm job gains and losses by firm size. In 1998, there were 373,600 employer businesses, of which nearly 99% were small businesses.
