This is a very old book which was written by Amir Hasan Ala Sejzi about the speeches (Malfuzat) of advices and discourses of his spiritual master Hadrat Khaja Nizamuddin Auliya and which was translated from Persian into Urdu language and the first time I was translating this book into English. This translation of the most ancient and celebrated Persian old book on Sufi'ism will, I hope, be found useful not only by the number of students familiar with the subject at first hand, but also by many readers. In this book it has five parts with a total of 188 Majalis (meetings). Fawaid Al-Fawad deserves to be classified as one of the classics in didactic literature on Sufism. This is a very lengthy book and it is available in five volumes and also it is very lengthy in 'Hast Bahist' series in which there are advises and instructions, especially available for Taleb (student) and it refers to a person who is committed to a Murshid (spiritual master) in a Tariqa (spiritual path) of Sufism and it is also known as a Salik (Arabic: سَالِك‎), a Mureed is an initiate into the mystic philosophy of Sufism and all these details of advices by the spiritual master Khaja Fariduddin Gunj Shaker are added in this book. And also in this book there are some great achievements which are not yet known to the general person are published in a very interesting style so for this reason the readers will find great interest and attention to this matter. From the above facts and details, if the readers will starts reading this magazine's first page and will not stop its reading till they will reach its last page as in this magazine some interesting events and as well as other great miracles and endeavours of holy saint are added and this holy saint to have passed away from the world some 700 years ago.

This book, Al-Fawa'id: A Collection Of Wise Sayings is one the well-known compilations of Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya, who is well known by the name Ibn Al-Qayim (may Allah have mercy upon him). This blessed book is not like others that simply contain sections, chapters and themes, but it consists of the elevated thoughts that Allah, Exalted be He, bestows upon some of His servants as he wills. So whenever any of these scattered pearls of wisdom occurred to the Imam, he would immediately record them. Whenever something came to his mind, he would record it, and whenever he learned a lesson or anything crucial in his life, he would illuminate the lines of his page with the ink of his pen. This book consists of landmarks of guidance and light, and the firebrands of piety that Ibn Al-Qayyim pondered in the fields of piety, asceticism and vivid exhortation towards the truth. He focuses on the role and duty of the hearts, and makes them clear to us to the extent that we are moved and motivated to learn and practice them. He explains to us the diseases of the heart so we may know how to avoid and overcome them.

This book represents the first serious consideration of Ismaili-Shia esotericism in material and architectural terms, as well as of pre-modern conceptions of religious plurality in rituals and astrology. Sufism has long been reckoned to have connections to Shi'ism, but without any concrete proof. The book shows this connection in light of current scholarly work on the subject, historical sources, and most importantly, metaphysics and archaeological evidence. The monuments of the Suhrawardi Order, which are derived from the basic lodges set up by Pir Shams in the region, constitute a unique building archetype. The book's greatest strength lies in its archaeological evidence and in showing the metaphysical commonalities between Shi'ism/Isma'ilism and the Suhrawardi Sufi Order, both of which complement each other. In addition, working on premise and supposition, certain reanalysed historical periods and events in Indian Muslim history serve as added proof for the author's argument.

The medieval period of Indian history is difficult to clearly define. It can be considered a long transition from ancient to precolonial times. Its end is marked by Vasco da Gama's voyage round the Cape of Good Hope in 1498 and the establishment of the Mughal empire (1526). The renewed Islamic advance into north India, from roughly 1000 A.D. onward, leading to the rise of the Delhi Sultanate (1206), is the beginning of the medieval period in political and cultural terms.
