An organization was effected by the choice of Capt. Lewis Bisbee as chairman. Remarks were made by the chairman and by Hon. Sidney Perham and George D. Bisbee, Esq. A brief sketch of the Bisbee family of New England was read by the writer of this sketch, commencing with the emigrant ancestor and tracing the family down to those who were assembled on this occasion, comprising ten generations. At the close of the exercises it was voted that a committee be raised to prepare and cause to be printed an account of the meeting, and a genealogical sketch of the descendents of Charles Bisbee, and Capt. Lewis Bisbee, George D. Bisbee and Wm. B. Lapham were appointed the committee. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
