This Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) provides guidance for designing and installing renewable power generation (RPG) systems that interface with an installation's power grid. The criteria contained herein are intended to ensure durable, efficient, and reliable systems and installations. Whenever unique conditions and problems are not specifically covered by this UFC, use the applicable referenced industry standards and other documents for design guidance. Compliance with this UFC is mandatory for the design of renewable power generation systems that interface with an installation's power grid at all facilities and bases. This UFC applies to the creation of utility scaled power generation systems for installation power needs, and not for individual facility systems.
