Shows the multi-culture reality of the peoples of Michigan; provides a user's guide for using the Ethnic Directory and other materials for Michigan's formal and informal educational and cultural institutions and the ethnic organizations; creates a state-wide network for the collection, dissemination and use of the directory and related materials which would also link the experts in multiculturalism and ethnicity, making them available to institutions, organizations and groups around the state.
