After some traumatic early life experiences, Dougal the black-and-white kitten falls on his paws into a loving home with two kind humans. Dougal decides to repay his humans' kindness by trying to be a Good Cat at all times. But when you have a little sister like Shadow, being good isn't as easy as it should be; because Shadow is an alley-cat who eats his food and loves rummaging in bins and stealing from neighbours' barbecues. And, although they don't know it, the kind humans are not in charge in this house. That role goes to the imperious old cat Belladonna, who does not take kindly to newcomers in her space. Dougal and Shadow's new home also has a large resident family of wattle-birds, and a supporting cast of neighbouring cats with agendas of their own; so the kittens must learn their place in the pecking order. Dougal's diplomatic skills will be tested to their limit as he tries to make sense of human and feline psychology. Hello there! You'll have had your tea? Dougal here. Well, here we go, with our wee book. It's a collection or pot pourri (I've no idea what Hamish means by that - it sounds like something to do with the Pope) of our activities or 'doings' in the village we call home, because that's exactly what it is. Together with our housekeeper, Mrs Naughtie, and of course, the Laird who lives up at the big hoose and shoots grouse and other bottles of whisky, these are the actual scripts of our wee show which we performed on the wireless, when most of you were probably in bed! Hamish and I have known each other all our lives - well, not yet, obviously! We have a very close relationship and also with each other. Mrs Naughtie been with us since we first met her at the Krankie Arms, where she was working as part-time barmaid and bouncer. In addition to the scripts you'll find all kinds of other things tucked away under its kilt. There's a hectic social life in the village. You'll visit the 'bide a wee' café, proud possessor of three Michelin tyres. You'll have a conducted tour of the big hoose by Big Tam, our local guide (not during opening hours). You'll marvel at the site of the Battle of Auchtermuchty, now allotments. You'll peek into the Laird's social diary in 'oot and aboot' (40p at the post office). And a great deal more. Well, I hope this wee note will make you hurry to the till and spend the terrible amount of money these wee books cost these days. But then again this particular wee book is Scotland's answer to Richard and Judy! Hurrah! Away now ...

The well-known personal diary of Texas Cowgirl Jordan Douglas in college, at age 19. A Daddy's Girl and Texas Tomboy, she grew up in rural Texas roping and riding on horses with her Father, and found out love could be harder for a Tomboy who weren't as pretty as the cheerleaders. She had kept secret diaries through her teens of her ideas of love, sexual secrets, and as older guy friends shared benefits, they rejected her afterwards. She wrote about her strict religious upbringing and guilt from self-intimacy, and private sexual fantasies about the perfect Cowboy, her father. Her "Daddy Issues," and not recognizing her darker sexual needs exploded to the surface her 2nd year in College, and was recorded by her, in 'The Noah Diary." With her secret "Daddy Issues," her thick, Texas curves in her favorite Cowgirl boots and short-shorts, found herself in the arms of a stranger and older Cowboy named 'Noah' who was 27 years old, and whose style of intimacy was emotionally and physically brutal and poisoning to her mind. Jordan began a sexually-dominated summer with her hands tied behind her back, getting forced to explore her darker sexual desires of real sexual humiliation, stimulating sexual-emotional abuse, and disturbing sexual mind-play drawing out her need for more than Daddy's approval. Noah used these on her all summer as he forced her sexual needs past limits she couldn't handle, punishing her with her own desires to screaming excess, drugging her daily, and bringing her into complete Submission to his stimulating Daddy role over her. She had found true love in this journey of self-discovery and understanding, and began to feel like a beautiful cheerleader with her new Daddy, and as the summer came to an end, she feared leaving Noah to go back to college, feared facing her religious parents, her lies to them about working all summer, the truth that she had flunked her last semester to be with Noah, and they paid the bill. She had to return home to face her mistakes, when all she wanted, was happily ever after in Texas.
