Waterfall: Don't Look Down is not a step-by-step how-to book for marriage restoration. It's really just 66,000 words that could simply be summed up with, "Shut up and let me fix this. Love, God." Waterfall: Don't Look Down was written for the woman who just found out her husband cheated or the man who had to listen to his wife say, "I love you, but I'm not in love with you." Its purpose is to give biblical hope to the desperately lonely Christian who wants to stay in a broken marriage when the world says to run away. The Christian who has just been betrayed or abandoned needs to understand God hates divorce and his promise and plan is to heal broken homes. That person needs to know if they submit themselves and their marriage restoration to Jesus, it won't be easy. It may actually be almost impossible . . . almost! I'm a Christian woman who decided to allow Jesus to fix the mess my husband and I created in our marriage. Using journal entries I kept after finding out about my husband's affair, allows the reader a uniquely transparent view of the ugly journey to self-accountability, forgiveness, and marriage restoration. The journals also highlight non-fiction events where I was allowed to witness God's communication in ways that cannot be excused away as coincidental. I got to feel his presence, see his interventions, hear his voice, and witness his miracles. My only purpose in writing this book is to let hurting spouses know they have a choice. They can either allow Satan the opportunity to finish what they started by destroying their marriage, home, and family or give the whole mess over to Jesus and then just pray, shut up, and wait. Hurting Christians know Jesus is the answer, but they are desperately seeking someone to tell them the blessings are worth the pain and the wait. Waterfall: Don't Look Down can do just that.

1942. The Jewish Ghetto in Amsterdam. When Jozef and Trudi’s father dies in a concentration camp after being falsely arrested in 1941 as a saboteur, their mother goes into hiding, putting them in a children’s home for their safety. But when a decision is taken by the Nazis to kill all Jews including children, they are destined for deportation to a concentration camp and almost certain death. Their 22-year-old cousin, a nurse working in the Jewish hospital, decides to rescue them. Can Hetty save her cousins from the dangers and threats that face them all? Don’t Look for Me is based on a true story of love, loss, escape, and survival. It’s the story of a rebellious and determined young woman and her young cousin in the Nazi occupied Netherlands during WW2. Three quarters of the Jews living in the Netherlands in 1940 were killed during WW2. This is a story of survival against the odds.

New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Crusie teams up with USA Today bestselling author Bob Mayer to write a sizzling, high-octane romantic adventure about a straight-talking woman and a straight-shooting man... Lucy Armstrong is a director of television commercials who's just been recruited to finish a four-day action movie shoot. But she arrives on the set to discover that the directing staff has quit, the make-up artist is suicidal, the stars are egomaniacs, the stunt director is her ex-husband, and the lead actor has just acquired as an advisor a Green Beret who has the aggravating habit of always being right. Green Beret Captain JT Wilder had thought that hiring on as a military consultant for a movie star was a good deal: easy money and easier starlets. Instead he has to babysit a bumbling comedian, dodge low-flying helicopters, and resist his attraction to a director who bears a distracting resemblance to Wonder Woman. Then the CIA calls and he realizes that somebody is taking "shooting a movie" much too literally. Full of suspense and humor, non-stop action and fast-paced dialogue, Don't Look Down is the perfect blend of male and female, adventure and romance, Mayer and Crusie.

Much philosophical work on pop culture apologises for its use; using popular culture is a necessary evil, something merely useful for reaching the masses with important philosophical arguments. But works of pop culture are important in their own right--they shape worldviews, inspire ideas, change minds. We wouldn't baulk at a book dedicated to examining the philosophy of The Great Gatsby or 1984--why aren't Star Trek and Superman fair game as well? After all, when produced, the former were considered pop culture just as much as the latter. This will be the first major reference work to right that wrong, gathering together entries on film, television, games, graphic novels and comedy, and officially recognizing the importance of the field. It will be the go-to resource for students and researchers in philosophy, culture, media and communications, English and history and will act as a springboard to introduce the reader to the other key literature in the field.

Set a few years after the events of NO FLESH SHALL BE SPARED, DON’T LOOK BACK continues the story of fighter, Cleese. Cleese thought he’d been slick in hiding his finances from the notorious Joseph Weber and his World Gladiatorial Federation, but he was wrong. Captured and brought back into the fold, Cleese finds himself back in a world of hurt, back for a new – and VERY lethal – game. Along the way, Cleese will be reunited with some old friends, make a few new ones, and find a renewed purpose for his life in a world of the living dead. *** “…NO FLESH SHALL BE SPARED trumps pretty much every summer action movie released over the past few years in terms of muscular, rambunctious fun. A peek into a lesser-explored dimension of the zombie mythos is always welcome, and if you perhaps know of any real fourteen-year-old-boys that you’d like to see put down the game controller and dig into an actual book, buy them NO FLESH SHALL BE SPARED now and thank FANGORIA later.” – Fangoria “NO FLESH SHALL BE SPARED is an impress debut novel by Carnell that shows surprising depth and character development. He also shows the ability to repulse and fascinate in the same keystroke… Carnell has an interesting writing style, one part Lansdale, one part King, with just a splash of Dashiell Hammett thrown in for good measure.” – Dread Central “Just when I thought no writer could tell an engaging story within the done-to-death zombie genre, along comes Carnell with a sledgehammer tale of the living dead. Like Lindqvist's HANDLING THE DEAD, NO FLESH SHALL BE SPARED is a unique, refreshing take on the undead mythos. Imagine if Martin Scorsese took over the Ultimate Fight cartels in a world gone mad. Carnell has delivered a devastating debut novel.” – Philip Nutman, author of Wet Work “No one has done more for legitimizing the beauty of the horror genre than Thom Carnell.” – Clive Barker
