Models of predatory behavior, for example, suggest that financially healthy (deep pocket) carriers are more likely to undertake aggressive pricing against weaker rivals. Similarly, executives at some airlines have been more outspoken than others in blaming the industry's financial difficul ties ou the behavior of financially weak carriers.
