Podemos definir los factores psicosociales como aquellas condiciones presentes en el trabajo, relacionados con la organización, el contenido y la realización del trabajo que pueden afectar tanto al bienestar y la salud (física, psíquica o social) de los trabajadores como al desarrollo del trabajo así como a la productividad empresarial. Las principales consecuencias negativas sobre la persona son el estrés y la insatisfacción laboral y se observan en parámetros como la cantidad y la calidad del trabajo realizado, la rotación laboral o el absentismo. Según los datos de la V Encuesta Nacional de Condiciones de Trabajo los estudios o programas de intervención sobre el estrés se han realizado sólo en un 2,8% de las empresas, hallándose a la cola de las actividades preventivas. Espero que este libro sirva para mejorar la productividad empresarial vía una mejor concienciación frente a estos riesgos.
