Some would say that a wounded child will grow to become a broken soul. I say, it'sthe broken ones that become something beautiful. We create a chaos in this worldthat we cannot ignore. Broken homes and tragic endings are commonground with the billions of people on this planet. Evil creeps around every corner, and itbecomes an entity easily ignored. We've grown into a society of, "mind your ownbusiness". Creating holes for the monsters to sneak in without notice. We seeminglywalk by and ignore the madness around us, sucked into our own plagued emotions, andcruelties we believe we have. We are blind to the world around us, creating the perfectspace for all of us, the broken ones, to slip through the cracks. My name is Paetyn Baker, and this is my story. It's time to meet the demons in my closet...

An Apology to My Demons is one young woman's story of how an auto accident proved to be the catalyst for overcoming the self-destructive behavioral issues caused by the childhood abuse and trauma she experienced as a child - issues that had been ruining her life. It is aimed primarily at female readers dealing with hardship, loss, and betrayal, including emotional and mental health issues. These maladies, often manifesting from childhood experiences, are all too common, affecting millions of people in the United States and around the world. The Covid-19 pandemic has made this phenomenon even worse, causing significantly more people to suffer daily depression and emotional or behavioral issues. We are at a time where people are looking for a lifeline - for the inner light that they hope resides within. This book is written to give voice to the pain and provide a path to healing.

How can a loving God send people to hell? Isn’t it arrogant to believe Jesus is the only way to God? What is up with holy war in the Old Testament? Many of us fear God has some skeletons in the closet. Hell, judgment, and holy war are hot topics for the Christian faith that have a way of igniting fierce debate far and wide. These hard questions leave many wondering whether God is really good and can truly be trusted. The Skeletons in God's Closet confronts our popular caricatures of these difficult topics with the beauty and power of the real thing. Josh Butler reveals that these subjects are consistent with, rather than contradictory to, the goodness of God. He explores Scripture to reveal the plotlines that make sense of these tough topics in light of God’s goodness. From fresh angles, Josh deals powerfully with such difficult passages as: The Lake of Fire Lazarus and the Rich Man The Slaughter of Canaanites in the Old Testament Ultimately, The Skeletons in God's Close uses our toughest questions to provoke paradigm shifts in how we understand our faith as a whole. It pulls the “skeletons out of God’s closet” to reveal they were never really skeletons at all.

With the wings of evil he shall arise, his power shall be hidden from those most wise. Here to save all mankind, yet not until the end will he himself find. He would need to shed the blood of someone dear, to save the world when catastrophe is near. Only the chosen can defeat the sons and the source, for indeed this is his course. There is a yearning in us all to be a hero, the insatiable call for adventure where we defeat the villains and save the day. But there is also a line that determines what makes us heroes. The same line that questions what we want to do and what must be done. But what if we are not able to differentiate? What if the more we try to beat our demons, the more we realize that we have become them? Brian Bradley understands that there is more to his life than just being a priest; he has the power to save the weak and helpless, but destiny asks him to make a sacrifice he is not ready to. Can he be the hero the world needs? Or will he submit to the demons within

Many modern Christians are now agreeing that we should take Jesus' command to cast out demons more seriously than we have in recent years. But how do we do it? Where do we start? This practical, down-to-earth book shows us how. From Doris Wagner, one of the leading authorities on biblical deliverance in North America, this manual teaches Christians how to take and break soul ties; how to break bondages of rejection, addiction, lust, and more; and how to set free those whom the enemy has held captive.

For sixteen weeks I have learned so many things from not only my instructor, Mr. Bradburn, but also from my classmate in my storytelling class. I have watched those who were so afraid to stand up in front of people and read a story from a book, find ease in standing in front of people on a stage and tell a story. As for me, I received out of the class exactly what I was searching for. Confidence. I learned that "improv" is not a scary word, and that it is alright to let my hair down and enjoy the stories I am telling. As a writer, this was something I feel was necessary to learn to help me grow, improving my telling of stories on paper. Watching and listening to my classmates confirmed what I have been saying for years. Everyone has a story to tell, and it was a pleasure being in the class hearing their stories. For Mr. Bradburn, I will never forget the classes I had with him. He is truly one of the greats.

In her multiple award-winning second book, Scatter Seeds of Kindness, author and poet K. A. Bloch encouraged readers to spread kindness to others and to themselves. In Gather Seeds of Hope, the author’s award-winning third book, she encouraged readers to hold onto hope for themselves, but also give some away to those in need. In Sow Seeds of Wisdom: A Collection of Inspirational Stories That Just Happen to Rhyme, the author shares little bits of her wisdom and knowledge, while also encouraging readers to evaluate what they have learned on their own journey—and to pass what they have learned along to others. Wisdom, like kindness and hope, is meant to be shared. Told in her usual lighthearted, slightly self-deprecating manner, the author shares wisdom through both prose and poetry on such topics as common sense, betrayal, things we keep hidden—or choose not to reveal, things we hold onto long after we should have let them go, and spirituality, among many other topics. Sometimes deep and profound; sometimes lighthearted and humorous; the poems in Sow Seeds of Wisdom always provide fresh insights for the reader to learn from and ponder.
