Fritz McCloud is thrilled when his knee is finally recovered enough to allow him to play basketball again. Everyone is excited when their star player scores a big victory against a rival school. But then Johnny Larson is caught drinking, and the coach kicks him off the basketball team. Johnny goes from bad to worse, and nothing Fritz can say or do seems to make a dent in Johnny’s bad attitude and choices. Then, a terrible tragedy changes everything.
