North Pacific Coast and from there eastward into western -mon'tana, there is a great diversity of condition, but most sections report range and dry land crops poor and irrigated sections facing an acute shortage of water. In portions of this area feed supplies are already low and cattle are suffering but. The scarcity of feed for next winter is the item of chief concern. In the Pacific Northwest, crop prospects were favorable on June 1 and there have been some good rains-since. In the South, growing conditions for pasture, feed, and forage crops appear to have been mostly average or better, although parts of the Southeast complain of too much rain. Winter Wheat. - Production of winter Wheat is forecast at bushels, as compared with a production of 351, bushels in 1933 and-the 5 - year (1927 - 31) average of bushels. Abundant rains in Barbados have checked the damage caused by drought which prevailed in April and May. Trade reports mention temperatures above normal with plenty of sunshine in Hawaii, where conditions have been favorable for field 'work, although along the windward coast more rain would improve the crop growth. Conditions in the northern coastal area of Australia have been satisfatry. In parts of the south the weather has been dry for two months and is cool, giving the expectation of a reduced yield in those regions.
