Hogs, how ever, reacted upward from a week earlier when values were as low as any time this year. Big receipts and a stagnant set of dressed markets were the bearish factors underlying the break in cattle, sheep, and lambs. Mounting corn prices were instrumental in sending cattle through market gates too numerously to meet the increased loadings of grassers from the Southeast.
