Abstract: This textbook is an introduction to instructional technology. Each chapter includes an outline, objectives, vocabulary, case studies, examples of materials, "how to" procedures, and appraisal checklists where appropriate. The first three chapters address using media for instruction, planning for the use of media, and visual design.
