This second book in Herocimo's Conquest series is the true story of squatters taking over Los Ojuelos Ranch, which belonged to Herocimo's great-great-great-grandfather. This installment follows the squatters' friends in the courthouse, and documents fraudulent judges, attorneys, and state agencies. The state bar, judicial commission, and regional and administrative judges all allowed this corruption to happen so Herocimo's family lost their ranch. How and why could this happen? Los Ojuelos Ranch was illegally taken by well-educated, greedy, and unremorseful people in Webb County, Texas. This fact-based book conveys to readers that anything can happen to your land if you neglect to take care of it for future generations.
