This volume gives theoretical and practical insights in international and comparative research in the field of adult and continuing education. The volume presents research that emerges from the 9th international Adult Education Academy (2022), which brings together researchers, students and practitioners from around the world to share perspectives comparatively. This book re-imagines the essence and role of adult education at both the individual and societal levels.
