The aver age snowfall for the Section, 75 stations reporting, was inches, which is inches above the normal. There was minor wind damage in some localities in Massachusetts. Snowfall was 3 to 8 inches except that there was very little in northwestern Vermont, northern Maine and the southeastern Massachusetts coastal area.
