For some years, one thing had bothered me, why does the Ramakrishna Order believe in the equality of religions when they ought to know that it could simply not be true. There is so much published material readily available on the subject and the swamis have ample time at their disposal to study them. Within a year of beginning to write on religion, history and current events from an auditor's point of view, my works became fairly well known, which prompted one of the important branches of Ramakrishna Order to send me a prepaid order for books that included Judaism Christianity Islam Secularism Hinduism. The truth contained in that book had shaken up many intellectually inclined people but failed to impress the Ramakrishna Order. Therefore, I sent a complimentary copy afterward to the President Mahaaraaj at Belur Math [note 1] with a personal note, by registered post, but he too chose to ignore the truth, and continue treading on the path of untruth. Too many large religious, social, and socio-political organizations take pride in parroting [note 2] the well-established untruth ‘all religions are equal’ without any independent verification or application of individual mind. This work will focus on Ramakrishna Order, hoping to persuade it to recognize the truth and spread it further, which will then prompt relatively smaller organizations to follow the same course. Success is not in our hand, the Karm’ कर्म is. We are spreading the seeds. Fertile grounds will nourish them. Barren lands will stay neutral. In due time, your mind will make you stand by the side of Truth. A silent mass uprising will take place as Swami Vivekananda would have dreamt. Hindoo will learn to assert himself. Lost glory of Hindooism will be regained. ------------------------- [note 1] A plot of land was acquired by Swami Vivekananda in 1899, and three years later (1902) he left his body (age 40). Belur Math, RKM Headquarter, stands today on that plot of land. Swami Vivekananda did not see this building during his lifetime. "Incorruptible Bodies examines a fateful theological controversy that raged in the eastern Roman empire in the early sixth-century. The controversy, whose main participants were the anti-Chalcedonian leaders Severus of Antioch and Julian of Halicarnassus, centered on whether or not Jesus' body was corruptible prior to its resurrection from the dead. Viewing the controversy in light of late antiquity's multiple images of the 'body of Christ,' Yonatan Moss reveals the underlying political, ritual, and cultural stakes of this debate and its long-lasting effects"--Provided by publishe

This radical new interpretation reveals many connections between Luke and Johannine traditions. Comparision of pericopae shared by Luke and John suggests that the usual assumptions of Lukan priority may be mistaken; instead his may be chronologically the fourth gospel. Luke nevertheless treats his sources in different ways, his response being both critical and creative. He aims to give security to Christians by including as much as possible and reconciling conflicting traditions, while firmly excluding heretical misinterpretation. Shellard also includes a consideration of Luke's use of possible sources, both canonical and extra-canonical, and places Luke-Acts in its literary context, noting among other things the presentation of Rome as a facilitator of evangelization and a promoter of co-existence.>

Why have the issues of religious liberty, free speech and constitutional privacy come to figure so prominently in our society? What are the origins of the basic principles of our constitutional law? This work develops a general theory of constitutional interpretation based on an original synthesis of political theory, history, law, and a larger approach to the interpretation of culture. Presenting both historical and theoretical arguments in support of a theory that affirms the moral sovereignty of the people, Richards maintains that toleration, or respect for conscience and individual freedom, is the central constitutional ideal. He discusses such current topics of constitutional controversy as church-state relations, the scope of free speech, and the application of the constitutional right to privacy, to abortion, and consensual adult sexual relations.
