The book focuses broadly on the preliminaries of the canal irrigation systems in India with a focus on their operation, maintenance, and management of the canal systems. The present book intends to assess the performance of Pressurized Irrigation Network System (PINS), the effectiveness of institutional arrangements for management of PINS projects and the bottlenecks for their smooth functioning in India.
