The Consultation report has been prepared to provide information on the issues raised by stakeholders during the consultation process and how those issues were addressed in finalising the Resource Operations Plan amendment. The amended plan converts approximately 660 groundwater licences to tradeable water allocations, and introduces groundwater management arrangements to reduce the extent of seawater intrusion and its impacts on agricultural production and groundwater resources in the Coastal Burnett groundwater management area.
