Excerpt from Biographical Record of the Class of 1874 in Yale College, Vol. 4: 1874-1909 The Secretary desires to express his thanks to all who have assisted him by sending contributions or photographs, and especially to his fellow members of the committee, George Gunn and Harry Hatch, and to Dave Kennedy, who very kindly made the final revision of the copy for the press. He acknowledges gratefully the valuable aid given by the Class Secre taries Bureau, without which the gathering of the material would have involved greater delay and less accuracy. He is also indebted to the Bureau for the permission to use without charge a number of plates of old college buildings prepared for the use of other classes.
