In 1899 the aggregate of assessments for taxation was In 1906 it has increased to a gain of sixty-eight per cent, and may be reasonably expected to continue as long as our present prosperous conditions prevail. This increase can be attributed to the agricultural and industrial growth and generally improved business condi tions now apparent throughout the State.
