In (1), dated June 10 [1888], Millet thanks Winter for a copy of his book, references a drawing he (Millet) made for Winter, and sympathizes with Winter on some loss. On bifolium letterhead of Russell House, Broadway, Worcestershire. Signed F.D. Millet. With envelope addressed to Winter at The Grange, Brook Green, Kensington W., London. Year based on Winter's annotation on envelope. In (2), on a postcard illustrated with Millet's "A cozy corner," Millet sends greetings for the coming year (1910) and mentions that he has recently returned from Europe. Addressed to Winter at 17 3rd Ave, New Brighton, Staten Island, N.Y. Accompanied by envelope annotated by Winter: "Post card. Pictures by Frank D. Millet with autograph letter to me. W.W."
