The principal motivations for establishing the ICAMDATA conference series are to provide a focal point for intensive interactions between atomic and molecular data producers, compliers and users, and to provide a forum to discuss major issues, which are highlighted in this volume. Both theoretical and experimental approaches are reviewed and cover a broad spectrum of topics, including electron impact with atoms and molecules, atomic structure and transition probabilities, heavy particle collisions, quantum chemistry, and thermochemical data.
