Apparition Jack didn’t believe in ghosts.... until he met Josie! Jack Jeremiah was a teacher during the day and an artist and photographer any other time. When he rented a room for a studio at the old hotel, he got more than he had hoped for. Josie had been waiting for him to help her tell the truth about her untimely death, which had been fabricated by story tellers for years. She decided to reveal herself to Jack in a most mystic fashion but, not before Mariah comes on the scene and complicates matters. Now Jack is thrown into a confusing triangle with trust, mystery, companionship, some surprises and even love as the main components of the equation. The task of revealing the truth is further complicated by others who come on the scene where Josie is concerned but, were already present when Jack started his studio in the old hotel, which had been converted into a shopping mall. Entering the scene were the instigating barber; the nervous housekeeper and his boss, the maintenance man who gets involved unintentionally, and a few skeptical persons such as the feathered lady whom Josie gets back at for delivering a few unkind words about Josie’s behavior while she was still alive. Other circumstances that challenge Jack’s denial of ghosts becomes further complicated as well, such as: when an old German professor gives Jack more proof that the possibility of Josie existing could be a reality; also, the fact that Mariah, Jack’s model, and Josie are in a struggle to gain Jack’s attention. Apparition is a mixture of suspense, fantastic situations and predicaments, coupled with instances of love and laughter, usually orchestrated by Josie the ghost.
