Describes tests of a Case-IH 9250 articulated four-wheel drive farm tractor equipped with four rubber belt tracks in place of conventional wheels. Test results are presented and discussed with regard to pull to weight ratio, slippage, power delivery efficiency, rolling resistance, power take-off, soil pressure and compaction, steering, ride quality, visibility, general suitability of use, reliability, and cost. Where possible, comparisons are made to the performance of similar tractors equipped with radial tires.
