A beginners guide for identification and valuation of vintage Stanley tools. This guide is based on the Stanley Catalogue No 120 from 1923. We chose it because it was the first major catalogue of the combined Stanley Works. It was tempting to reproduce the catalogue without additions but that has been done before. We decided to reduce the size of the original line art pictures in favor of color illustrations, values and additional product information. The result therefore isn't a true re-print of the original catalogue but rather an enhanced reproduction that will assist budding Stanley collectors with identification and valuation of Stanley tools. We did not set out to compile a complete list of Stanley tools but rather give you a snapshot of the Stanley range available at the time the Sweetheart catalogues were issued.

A groundbreaking book on levels, from the leading expert in this area of tool collecting.
