To the extent that based on last year's valuation the rate will be higher than that of last year which averaged throughout the town Town Mainten ance funds are divided as follows: 47 per cent to Woodsville and 53 per cent to the town.' Taxes were paid better dur ing 1937 and we recommend that the Selectmen for the year 1938 abate interest charges on back taxes to 7 instead of 670 now charged and as soon as possible increase rate to the 10% required by law.
