"Voted as “India’s most admired” and “most trusted woman” Kiran Bedi is a recognised face in India. She has been a recipient of prestigious decorations, most notable being, the Ramon Magsaysay Award in Government Service, and the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry. She was the first Indian to be appointed as Civilian Police Advisor to the Secretary General of the United Nations, in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations. She is known for her innovative, reformative and holistic approach to crime prevention and law enforcement. She holds degrees in Law, Masters, and a Doctorate.
