Days flow together deep under the ice of Antarctica. Arturo Davini’s expectations were low until luck or fate sent him through one of the many gateways found across the world. He fell into another place and came back forever changed—setting off a chain of events that spirals dangerously toward the end. Running from her former employer, Danae Lee searched for answers to the mysterious symbol and the room beyond. Too many too precise to be coincidence or hoax, the rune has been photographed across the world in ancient ruins both on land and under the ocean. Few believe her findings, but there is more to these places. She plans to prove it. A former park ranger has something to show her that may tie the pieces together. Liam Prescott works with Danae’s parents in a ruined temple in Peru. While studying the ancient paintings, the Lee’s disappear into a light coming from the small chamber beyond the symbol. Liam must find Danae. Only together will they be able to find her parents. As long as his own father doesn’t get in the way. An ancient power wants to control the outcome of humanity, and only one thing stands between that power and complete domination.

In the 1960s, a group of Italian scholars undertook underground dowsing and geological research, particularly in the area between the Pre-Alps and the Po Valley (Italy), with the aid of an electronic instrument developed by Eng. Alessandro Porro. The working group led by Eng. Porro also included a geologist, Prof. Floriano Villa, and a journalist of the "Corriere della Sera", Mario Miniaci. The results of the research, noted in the form of a 'Diary' by Mario Miniaci, were astonishing: there were vestiges of an intelligent and technologically advanced species which had lived on Earth during the Eocene epoch, millions of years before the appearance of the human race. The Diary, together with much other material, was donated by Miniaci to his friend Marco Zagni, many years after the hasty (and almost forced) conclusion of the research. The result was a report through which the Rabdo Team (Marco Zagni, Diego Marin, Loris Bagnara, Piercarlo Bormida) intended to explore this incredible and elusive story from multiple sides: in particular from a scientific point of view, trying to explain how the "Electronic Diviner" works and to investigate the plausibility of the existence of an ancient non-human civilization; but trying also interpret this story from different point of view such as esotericism, mythology, science fiction. You will find in this book: Intriguing Historical Expedition: Follow the groundbreaking 1960s research conducted by Italian scholars utilizing an innovative electronic instrument developed by Eng. Alessandro Porro, unveiling surprising vestiges of an advanced ancient civilization predating humanity. Enigmatic 'Diary' Discoveries: Delve into the astonishing findings chronicled by journalist Mario Miniaci in his 'Diary,' revealing evidence of an intelligent species during the Eocene epoch, sparking curiosity and speculation about Earth's ancient history. Multi-Perspective Exploration: Join the Authors as they meticulously dissect Miniaci's 'Diary' and accompanying materials from scientific, esoteric, and speculative angles, aiming to unravel the mysteries of the Electronic Diviner and the existence of an enigmatic pre-human civilization. Interdisciplinary Investigation: Uncover a riveting blend of scientific inquiry and speculative analysis as the Eng. Porro's team scrutinizes the technological implications and potential societal impact of an ancient, technologically advanced species in the Eocene Epoch. Provocative Insights: Experience a thought-provoking journey into realms of mythology, science fiction, and esotericism, as the book invites readers to ponder the plausibility and implications of a prehistoric civilization, challenging conventional views of Earth's ancient past.

A look at the mythic, archetypal, and transformational aspects of Snake • Explores how and why Snake was transformed from esteemed advisor and guardian of ancient wisdom to a symbol of deception and evil • Examines Snake’s healing powers, its role in awakening kundalini, and its connections to dreams, shamanism, alchemy, and the Goddess • Shares transformational stories and practical ways that Snake can help us travel through the imaginal realm, gather treasure from the psyche, and shed outgrown aspects of self Entwined with human consciousness since prehistoric times, Snake has always been associated with transformation--from the shedding of its skin to the rising of kundalini energy. In ancient times, Snake served as protector and advisor to gods, goddesses, and royalty. But with the story of Adam and Eve, Snake became the enemy--a tempter and deceiver. How did this happen and why do humans continue to fear and vilify Snake? Inspired by a vivid dream of an immense snake that lost its tail, animal communicator Dawn Baumann Brunke investigates the interwoven history of Snake and humanity and explores how we can once again access Snake’s wisdom and harness its powerful ability to heal, transform, and awaken. Uncovering ties between Snake and Goddess, the author demonstrates how both were systematically suppressed millennia ago with the spread of a patriarchal perspective that valued mastery over nature, God over Goddess. Brunke reveals how myths that originally extolled the virtues of Snake and Goddess were refashioned, recreating their images as debased and untrustworthy. She explores why snakes show up in shamanic journeys and transformational dreams and how their unique presence in our world can serve as catalysts of change, truth-telling, and enlightenment. Examining Snake’s role in awakening human consciousness, Brunke considers the alchemical role of the serpent as well as Snake’s connections to ancient healing, modern medicine, and even the DNA molecule. She shares psycho-activating stories to help trigger transformation and provide graceful movement through the chaos of change. And she offers practical techniques to journey with Snake through inner worlds, to shed confining aspects of self, and to integrate experiences more holistically. Brunke shows how we need to re-embrace the ancient power of Snake to better support our return to a more balanced consciousness--one that reunites nature with spirit, sacred masculine with sacred feminine--as we strive for global change and personal awakening.

This book examines the rhetorical force of certain key words in the discourses of Russian state, political thought, and literature. It shows how terms for cultured conduct (kul'turnost'), political affection (love, liubov', joy-radost' etc.), personhood (lichnost'), truth (pravda) and geographical integrity (tsel'nost') assumed almost sacral meaning. It considers how these terms took on a life of their own, imposing the designs of the Russian state and defining the hopes of educated society in the process. By exploring the usage of these words in a wide range of texts, Richard Wortman provides glimpses into the ideas and feelings of leading figures and thinkers in Russian history, from Peter the Great to Alexander Herzen and Nicholas Berdiaev, as well as writers like Mikhail Lermontov, Ivan Turgenev, and Fedor Dostoevsky, giving a sense of the intellectual and emotional universe they inhabited. The Power of Language and Rhetoric in Russian Political History provides both students and scholars with a specific focus through which to approach Russian culture and history. This book is essential reading for students of Russian government, thought, literature and political action.
